The Sales Support / Customer Service Representative role will be to ensure that accounts are managed through the entire sales lifecycle and sales objectives are achieved. Provide upstanding customer service to Wamco's accounts including, developing relationships internally and externally, collaborating with outside sales, and providing administrative sales support. This role is responsible for enhancing the lifecycle of all account assigned with outside sales efforts.

  • Full Time: Monday ~ Friday 7:00am - 4:00pm

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for assisting in the complete sales cycle (quotation, order entry, sample requests, process shipping docs, expedites, account support, customer follow up), interacting with the customer, all internal departments, and Wamco's operating system
  • Receive and process sales orders, check availability of product, and confirm delivery date in a timely manner
  • Directly address customer's requests, investigates, and resolves customer issues
  • Manage customer's portals
  • Follow up status of existing orders and notifies with changes of delivery dates
  • Ensure customer pricing is up-to-date and inform outside sales of pricing issues and fluctuations
  • Complete an understanding of Wamco product lines and applications
  • Develop and maintain successful customer relationships in daily interactions
  • Support outside sales, with reporting requests, tracking, quotations, order analysis, documentation request, and data for presentations
  • Identify new business opportunities new and existing customers
  • Identifies new potential business within existing accounts and relay to outside sales
  • Supports customer with new developments/improvements of product lines with application specific recommendations

Qualifications:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and problem-solving skills
  • Must be organized and possess strong time management skills
  • Strong problem-solving ability with customers, personnel, and operations
  • Strong customer service skills and attention to detail
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Ability to thrive in a team environment

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Sales Support / Customer Service
  • Knowledge of Aerospace or Electronics industry a plus
  • Undergraduate degree preferred
